Every year in September, something called Elvelangs i Fakkellys is held, a magical evening filled with lots of lights along the entire Akerselva River. Each year, it is also the task of the master's students in interaction design at AHO to create more elements that can contribute to this light show along the river. In 2025, it was my turn and I and my group contributed by creating both code using TouchDesigner that was projected, and a staff, The Staff of Light, that you could speak into to warp the sound and change what you saw on the screen. A very creative and exciting project, and an exhibition that several thousand people in Oslo got to experience and interact with.
